Principal's Message

It is with immense gratitude, excitement, and pride that I introduce myself as the new principal of Wilcox Elementary. It is a true honor to join this incredible community, and I am eager to embark on this journey with all of you. As I step into this role, my primary focus is to listen, learn, and build strong relationships with the teachers, staff, students, and families who make this school so special.

Our collective goal will be to foster a positive learning environment where students, staff, and families feel heard, valued, and empowered. We will work every day to maintain a school climate where all students are supported and provided with an equal opportunity to experience success. Every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and joyful space to discover their potential.

Every decision we make will begin and end with what is best for our children. As I lead our school forward, my leadership style is rooted in three core principles:

• Equality: Ensuring every student has the resources, access, and support they need to thrive.
• Empathy: Leading with an open heart, seeking to understand diverse perspectives, and practicing compassion in all interactions.
• Empowerment: Uplifting our teachers, staff, and students to take ownership of their learning, lead with confidence, and reach their highest potential.

As a newcomer to the community, your feedback and collaboration are incredibly important to me. Please know that my door is always open. I welcome the opportunity to meet you, hear your stories, and partner with you to build a bright future for our students.
